I purchased a brand new sectional living room furniture at Regency Furniture Store in Brandywine, Maryland August 2016 however, the sectional had a issue with the spring lifting in the chase. After sending the furniture back multiple times to Regency for repairing, finally after filing a complaint with the BBB, I was offered to come in and select new living room furniture couch which was successfully done.

I was told by Megan who is the Manager for Acceptance New that she has to wait for her District Manager to transfer over my account. I made several of many calls to the District Manager after receiving feedback from Megan that she's waiting for this transaction to be complete "basically, communication is horrible"! Finally, in January 2017, I received a call from Megan that my check for $200.00 has arrived and when being asked about my account being transferred over, she stated that they have a new District Manager and my account was brought to his attention and she will call once the account is transferred. Again, waiting to hear from a District Manager however, no response.

I went to Regency Furniture to make a payment in March for $200.00 and after making that payment, I ask Courtney who is a Rac Acceptance Employee, what was my balance. Her response was, I have to wait until the account is current which made no sense to me so April 13, 2017, I made another payment for $200.00 and after making that payment, I was told that my balance was $2,400.000. I stated to Courtney that I am still in the rear of $400.00 which was never rolled over from my previous account which the furniture purchase was defected and now I've currently paid for the new couch and love seat, $600.00. When changing out my furniture, Regency gave me 1/2 off the love seat which brought my total to $2300.00 and I've totally paid out of pocket $1,000 so why is my total $2,400.00.

I was told that I would need to talk to the new District Manager, Cathryn which I did on 5/1/17 @ 10:49am and explained my situation to her and she stated that she would have to send a request to corporate and she will give me a call on Friday, 5/5/17.

After not hearing from Cathryn, I decided to call her on Monday, 5/8/17, Tuesday 5/9/17, Wednesday 5/10/17 and Friday, 5/12/17 and to this date, no response, just voice mail. Needless to say, Rac Acceptance is saying that my balance is $2,300 however, after checking my credit report, they indicate that $5,000 is due.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1500.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
