I had to use this acceptance now the guy straight up lied to me and my wife we bought a couch it was $2000 the guy said if we took the full loan we would end up paying $6000 for the couch we told him that we were NOT going to pay $6000 for the couch we asked if we could make double payments he said yes and then he sold me some insurance if I get laid off of work the insurance would pay 3 months until I went back to work he knew from the beginning I made cash and I didn't qualify for the insurance but sold it to me anyway needless to say they really stuck it to me can't make extra payments have to pay the full loan of $6000 and the insurance I paid for a little over a year when I needed it they told me I didn't qualify and they didn't give me my money back or even apply it to the loan

Bait and Switch
Went in thinking i was paying to own the furniture and now being told that i was only renting. I've paid over $150 more then what the actual furniture is selling for in-store and now was told that I would have to make 15 more payments because only $42 is going toward purchase the rest is rental.
So it would be a total of $2,100 for $600 work of furniture. This is not what was explained to me and their paperwork is confusing. Also looking at the paperwork there is a man's signature even though a women was helping me. I've tried several times to call the district manager and never receive a call back.
I'm so pissed I just wasted $700. I would never recommend this company they are as bad as pay day loans.

Complaint
I made the mistake of entering into an agreement to purchase furniture with this company not realizing it was rent to own. Due to fatigue from moving I fell for their tactics even though I did try to get out of the agreement as soon as I left the store.
I was lied to about my payment amount and the need to purchase their insurance. I have requested numerous times to have their legal department contact me and this was ignored. You are never provided a statement to see what you have paid and what is owed. You can only pay online or calling the store to deal with personnel that lied to you in the first place.
The online system is frequently unavailable. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals office for them being misleading in the contract negotiation. Contacting the regional office doesn't really help. You are not given full names (no last name) and I was only able to deal via text which they started ignoring.
I would not recommend dealing with them at all.
I may get an Attorney to review the contract. They do not like to put anything in writing which is also shady.

Maybe you're new to the planet, but while allowing companies to poach this kind of interest markup is ridiculous, this isn't a new practice.
I did get a TV through them that I paid before the 90 days was up, but I did that knowing I would be doing so - to avoid the finance charges. I'm unaware of your experience, but all the fees and cost after the 90 days was explained to me.
I went in knowing the fine print - which all people should do, if you did not that is your fault.
While I understand your frustration, blaming a company for the practice they set forth and do not force you to sign papers for(unless you are AGREEING to the terms)is unfair. They did not "do you wrong", you agreed to the terms when you signed papers and gave them payment.
