Terrible!!! I signed a contract saying $165 a month to get a phone call telling me my payment was $238 a month. The manager said she couldn't fix it. Told me to pay ahead of the date so they wouldn't charge me that amount. And then call back in two weeks for another payment. I called back and paid $90 because that's what the gentleman on the phone said I owed. How am I being charged this amount if my contact say $165???

I have an account with Acceptance Now. Currently 1 month latr.

I went to make my payment and waited around for 1.5 hours because there was a sign posted that they would be back at the office at 2:45pm.. 3:08 no one there , 3:30 no one there 3:45 no one there. I left to have someone banging on my door two days later saying that I was a liar and that I did not go to make my payment.

Unacceptable to talk to a customer in that manner. We have paid off numerous accounts with them.

Acceptance Now - Customer Care Review from Palm Coast, Florida

Filthy liars! They said that opening my account would not effect my credit score if I paid the full balance within 90 days. This is a total lie! I paid the full balance within 2 weeks and surprise,there it is on my credit report as an opened account,dragging my credit score down 17 points. I regret doing business with these hacks. Never again!

The same thing happened to me. I paid-off a leather recliner in less than two weeks.

It was a birthday present and I wanted to give it for the birthday and didn't have the money until a few days later. I was able to write to the credit bureaus and had the debt removed.

I had applied online to acceptance now for Value City was approved went to local store picked out items that I wanted and needed for my new apartment. Put my deposit down was put on the schedule for delivery the day of delivery was called by the store and told that I was taken off the schedule by DM cause apparently he wasn't happy with me. This was the first time. So I got no furniture so I'm sitting on the floor in my new apartment for a month. I reapply got approved again go back to store pick out same items once again to be told that now I can only get either the couch and dinning table or the office desk and dresser can't get everything. I said the last time time I was allowed too. Apparently I wasn't allowed. So I'm like okay I need to have something to sit on and eat dinner at so I took the couch and dinning table put my deposit down in cash. Was told once again a week later that the DM does not want my business and I would get a refund. I was asked how I paid I told them cash. I was told to call back in couple of hours too be told that policy is a check has to be issued to me. That it was done and it would take 7-14 days. I then called the corporate store twice spoke to the regional manger to be told that he was told by finance that a check was sent out on the 21st of June. Well today is the 25th and I was told on the 14th that a check was issued to me. So I called the local store and again I got the run around once again. I was just told that the request was sent out to issue me a refund on the 21st which is a week after I was told a check was issued. To be told today it's 7-14 days once again. Thanks great in the meantime I'm still sitting on the *** floor eating dinner on the floor can't bring anyone other to my place cause there no where to sit other than the floor. I can't go get furniture from another store that does acceptance and put money down cause I'm still waiting for my refund. You would think that they would not treat a veteran who just retired from the military like this. It's bad enough to lose friends in combat then come home and be handed divorce papers and have to start all over again. Wow this is my thank you. I would stay away from this place with a ten foot pole. Especially Value City a bunch of liars.

The representative named ashley that works in lakeland fl lied to us when we tried to start a new account. I referred my husband to RAC and they refused him because of my past account! Ashley said she could override the denied application and we could start a new account without involving my past acct. So i talked to the manager named brittany and she told me that ashley basically lied about the override code and the person i referred couldnt get his own acct because of my OLD acct. To me thats discrimination because a new customer shouldnt be penalized because of someone elses acct. I called the customer serv in texas and requested to speak to the regional manager. Im still waiting on that phone call 3 days later!!! RAC SHOULDNT BE IN BUSINESD

One of the employees was very rude to my family and myself. My wife and I went to pick out a new bed for our daughter, we found a beautiful one so we decided to go through the acceptance now program. The hispanic employee was very rude to my wife and I as we where asking questions.

I tried to go through this company for furniture and at first all was well when I gave them the money for a deposit. I found a furniture store that was cheaper than the company I went through so I cancelled my order. So the reps at the store said they couldn't give me a refund which was expected. So I called corporate for their call center to give me the run around. I finally get in touch with someone and they claimed they couldn't give me the info I needed to get my money back and that I had to wait for the GM to call . He called 48 hours later saying that he was sorry and the money will be sent. I waited a week after to check the status and the call center rep said the check was sent 6/6/16 and I had to wait up to 7-10 Days until the check would be at my home. So I did wait and the 10th Day had passed. I called again and now I have to wait 24 hour until the DM calls me. So I'm just wondering why should I go through all this bull...if I gave them cash in hand... They need a better system and better communication because as of now ya'll freaking suck. - pissed off customer
